Henry with Bauble


I have made this card for my eldest daughter using my new Grand Calibur die cutting machine. I have used XXL Frame Frilly #2 from Go Kreate to create the shaped card and layers.


The image is a Whiff of Joy stamp called 'Henry Mouse with Christmas Bauble', coloured with promarkers. I have touched up the bauble with gold stickles glitter glue.


The backing papers and christmas tree are from Nitwits Collection 'Heavenly'.

From our house to yours

I have made this card for a fellow crafter.......




This insert is from Bearly Mine Digi Sets 'Christmas Inserts' to match the backing paper used on the front of the card.
It has been layered onto gold card.











Image is from hAnglar and stAnglar coloured with Promarkers and layered onto gold card. I have applied Polar White Flowersoft to the fluffy part of her hat and gold Stickles Glitter glue to the basket and bow of the parcel.
Tumbled Glass Tim Holtz Distressing Ink was used around the image to remove some of the white area.
The large embossed circle around the image is Marianne Design Creatable die.
The heart is a Sizzix die and it has been covered with Pinflair Ice Diamond Glitter.
The sentiment is from Lily of the Valley.
The laced ribbon and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The leaves are created using a Martha Stewart punch.

Image is called 'Peter da Puppy' by Robyn's Fetish, which has been coloured with Promarkers.

Backing papers are from 'Funny Farm Range' by Nitwits.

I have used my new Martha Stewart 'Cherish' punch to create the shape which the image has been printed on and distressed the edges with Tim Holtz Scattered Straw and Walnut Stain distressing inks.

The flowers have been created using a Marianne Design die cut and the leaves have been punched out using a Martha Stewart leaf punch.

The sentiment was sent to me by a fellow crafting buddy in a image swap.

Let It Snow!!!


The hAnglar stAnglar image has been stamped up for me by a crafting friend which I have had for sometime now and this was just the type of card to use it on. I have coloured it with Promarkers and touched up with Glamour Dust.

The larger backing paper is from Nitwits 'Great White North Too' Collection and the smaller backing paper is from Bearly Mine 'Christmas Wonderland' Collection.

The large silver snowflake is a christmas tree decoration that I have recently bought. The smaller snowflakes have been punched out using a Woodware and Tonic punch.

The blue framework was created using a Martha Stewart punch called 'Cherish'.

Gems, ribbon and cardstock are from my stash.

Holly Angel

My Sister asked me to make her friend in Argentina a Christmas Card, so this is it.................


The papers used are from NitWits 'Simple Joys Collection'.

The image is called 'Holly Angel' by Motivet. She has been coloured using Promarkers. Her dress has been glittered with Glamour Dust and the holly berries have been touched up with Glossy Accents.

The flower and leaves embellishment were included in the Simple Joys collection kit and has also been glittered with Glamour Dust.

The sentiment is from Lily of the Valley, sent to me by the lovely Bluebertie over at Craft Mad and Loving It, from a sentiment swap.

I have used a Martha Stewart punch called 'Cherish' and it is by far my favourite punch at the moment.

I have followed the sketchie of this weeks challenge, set by Kathy, for Craft Mad and Loving It.

The pearl pin, ribbon and cardstock are from Bee Crafty.

A Jolly Happy Soul

I stamped this Jolly Snowman image up last Christmas and never used it, until today! I thought he deserved to be shown off on a card! He is called 'A Jolly Happy Soul', wooden stamp by Hampton Art.

He has been stamped up using red glitter embossing powder and heat embossed. So no Promarkers used :(

I have made the card following a sketchie over at Crafting Mad and Loving It.

The backing paper is what I bought from this years NEC Craftshow, called Jack Frost from Craftwork Cards.

The sentiment and card stock is from Bee Crafty.

The ribbon, lace flowers, pearlised leaves and poinsetta are from my stash.

Tilda singing Carols


This weeks challenge over at Craft Mad and Loving It is follow a sketchie with a theme of 'The night before Christmas'.

The image is called 'Tilda singing Carols' from Magnolia which I have coloured with Promarkers, added Polar White Flowersoft to the fluffy part of her coat and hat, Diamond Stickles glitter glue to her wings and touched up the singing sheet and notes with a glitter Spica pen.
Papers are from Bearly Mine Crafts (I am just loving these papers at the moment). I have edged it with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain distressing ink and blinged it up with Diamond Stickles glitter glue.
The sentiment is one of the new Lily of the Valley Christmas Sentiment stamps.

The Frond is from a Marianne Design Creatable die.
The ribbon, lace and pearls are from my stash.

Image is called 'All Wrapped Up' by Lily of the Valley. I have coloured her using Promarkers and added Glamour Dust to her hand muff. The edges have been inked using Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distressing Ink.

The red circular die is a Marianne Design Creatable, which I have touched up using a gold Stickles glitter glue.

Backing papers are from Bearly Mine Crafts, I have stressed the edges and added Stardust Stickles glitter glue.

The flowers are Bee Crafty Blooms, I have added Glamour Dust to create the frosted/glittery effect.

The Poinsettia has been frosted using Glamour Dust.

Flowers are Bee Crafty Blooms and have been covered in Glamour Dust to create the frosted effect.

The centre of the frame has been backed with Christmas vellum.




The sentiment is also from Magnolia called 'Vintage Merry', this has been stamped using Peeled Paint.

The adage tickets are from Tim Holtz Idea-ology, distressed with Peeled Paint distressing ink.

The backing paper is Making Memories 'Mistletoe'.

The ponsietta, leaves and berries are from my local Hobbycraft.

Buttons the Snowman

This week I am a Guest DT over on Craft's Mad and Loving It and I have set a sketchie with a theme called 'The 3 B's - Buttons, Bows and Beads'. This challenge blog is normally set on Craft's Mad and Loving It over on Craftbubble. Please feel free to join in with us!

The image a Motivet stamp called 'Buttons the Snowman', I have highlighted parts of him using promarkers and the blender pen.

Nestability - Label 15.

The circular shape is a Marianne Design Creatable embossing and die cut, distressed around the edge with Tumbled Glass Tim Holtz distressing ink.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid with christmas novelty snowflake buttons to the centres.

I have added Star Dust Stickles glitter glue to the snowman's buttons and scarf.

The snowflake is a 2" Woodware punch covered with Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels and added beads to the centre.

The irridescent swirl backing paper, ribbon, lace and pearl beads are from my stash.

Wedding Day



I made this wedding card for the lovely Bev at Bee Crafty (our local craft shop) who got married Friday 13th August 2010.

Image is from Lilly of the Valley, which has been coloured in using Promarkers. I painted the bridal gown with Modge Podge and then covered it with Glamour Dust.

I have used Star Dust Stickles on the flowers, head dress and around the edge of the base card.

The white 'Tying the Knot' embellishment was bought from a wedding shop.

Martha Stewart punch was used to create the heart border.

Papers, pearl swirls and glass flowers are from my stash.

I have doodled around the edges to create faux stitching to each die cut and around main card.
I have generated the football crazy sentiment from my computer and distressed the edges with 'Weathered Wood' Tim Holtz distressing ink.

I have made this card and entered it into:
Let's Get Stamping - follow a sketchie, with a twist of Eastern Promise.
Crafty Catz - theme is embossing.
Stamp Something - theme is Happy Somethings.
Our Creative Corner - theme is Gotcha Cornered.
Crafts and Me Challenge - theme is Friends and Family.
The image is a Mo Manning digi image, coloured with promarkers and touched up with Star Dust Stickles glitter glue.
Nestability - Label 12.
Tonic butterfly punch was used.
The fan was from Joanna Sheen's Elegant Fan CD, touched up with Xmas Red Stickles glitter glue and an organza bow was added.
The white piece of card was embossed using my Martha Stewart scoreboard and distressed with Tim Holtz Weathered Wood distressing ink.
The red backing paper is a snake skin texture as are the little 3D butterflies.
Cardstock, sentiment, flower and ribbon are from my stash.

Cuddly Cloud Baby


My Daughter asked me to make a 'Baby Boy' card for a friend.
I have entered it into the following challenges:

The blue backing paper is Magnolia. I have embossed the white card with a cuttlebug butterfly embossing folder.
The digi image is from Meljen Designs, called 'Cuddly Cloud Baby' and has been coloured with promarkers and touched up with Star Dust Stickles glitter glue.

Backing paper is from Fancy Pants Design called 'Flurry' which I purchased from my local craft shop Bee Crafty. I have distressed the edges, inked with Walnut Stain distressing ink by Tim Holtz and glittered with Star Dust Stickles glitter glue.
Image - Magnolia called 'Tilda with Flowers' and the basket is a Magnolia rubber stamp also. Both have been coloured with promarkers.
I made the flowers by using Magnolia roses for the back layers and several loose petals of blooms adding a small rose for the centre of each and glittered each centre bud with Star Dust Stickles glitter glue
Martha Stewart border punch used is called 'Daisy border punch'.
Sentiment is from Wild Rose Studio.

Backing paper is from DCWV paper stack range called Garden Party, distressed with Walnut Stain distressing ink by Tim Holtz and touched up with Stardust Stickles glitter glue.
Nestability - Standard Circle distressed with Tumbled Glass distressing ink by Tim Holtz.

Marianne Design Creatable Frame has been cut out and embossed onto DCWV Core White cardstock and sanded around the edges to give a distressed look.

Image is called 'New Hat' by Lily of the Valley, coloured with promarkers.

The scalloped circle has been created by using a Silvermoon punch.

The flowers have been created by myself using modge podge and glamour dust.

The pearls are from my stash.

Cuddly Buddly Charley

I have created the faux stitching with a Sky Blue Spica Glitter pen.
Sentiment is a Wild Rose stamp.
Backing papers used are from Wildrose Polka Dot paperstack and Milton & Co paperstack.

Flowers are from Wild Orchid and the beaded flowers are from K & Company.

The outer embossed scalloped circle and swirls were created with a Marianne Design 'Frame Circle' creatables die cut.
The butterfly was punched out using a Tonic punch.
I have sprayed the flowers with a brown/gold Cosmic Shimmer Mist.
Backing paper and card stock is from Bee Crafty.
I have distressed the edges of my backing paper and applied Cosmic Shimmer Autumn Twinkles glitter glue.
