Roll on Spring Challenge - w/c 16th January 2010 (2nd card)

This is my 2nd card of this week challenge on Craftbubble.
I used pink pearlescent card to layer my Kay & Co paper. Before sticking the bottom layer to the main card I appplied a piece of pink silk ribbon, from my stash, across the two layers and behind the back layer. The scalloped oval was made using an embossing board gluing small pearl gems in each embossed circle. The Tilda image was coloured with Promarkers, adding a little bit of bling with my Spica pens. I added little pink buttons in adjacent corners. The flowers were from my stash and the leaves were made using a Martha Stewart punch.

Roll on Spring Challenge - w/c 16th January 2010

This weeks Craft Bubble challenge has been set by Lauren.
Due to all the snow we have had she thought we could have a theme of "Roll on Spring" to cheer us all up and start breaking out those brighter colours and cheerful papers and images.
The main backing paper corners were punched using a Fiskars multi corner punch and layered onto pink pearlescent card. I used green pearlescent card to layer my Forever Friends Pink Parfait paper. The eyelets were made with a 'Crop a dile' before threading green rafia paper through, then tied in a knot. The three ovals were made using an embossing board, inking the outer edge of the plain oval with green chalk. I placed little green heart gems in each scalloped edge of the darker pink oval, then added another oval from the same paper I used on one of my layers. Finishing by adding 'The Greeting Farm, Twinkle Toes - Madelynn' stamped image coloured with Promarkers and Spica Glitter Pens to add a little sparkle!
