Christmas Cracker Favours

Hello fellow crafters

Hope you all had a very enjoyable Christmas and Boxing Day.

My Christmas Day was very quiet, I cooked a gammon joint for Hubbie, Eldest Daughter, Grandchild and myself. Then Boxing Day we had my youngest Daughter, her 2 boys, her husband and my hubbies cousin and her family. I cooked the works, Turkey and all the trimmings!! It was very enjoyable.

I bought some cracker templates from Which Craft (http://www.whichcraftuk.co.uk/paulas-crackers-c100130.html)

and filled them with favours for each guest, minature bottles for the Men and Kath Kidston hand cream and a Lindor chocolate for the Ladies.

I wish all my followers a very Happy, healthy and safe New Year!!

Mimosa Flower Basket - With Love

I have made this card for the following challenges:

The Corrosive Challenge - theme is Ribbons and Bows
Polka Doodles - theme is All of a Flutter (things with wings)

The image is called 'Mimosa Flower Basket' from the Bildmalarna rubber stamp range, I have coloured her using watercolour pencils blended with sansodor.

The backing papers are from Prima 'Botanical' 6" x 6" paper pad.

Ribbon, butterfly and gems are from my stash.

The fancy blue die is from a Nellie Snellen circular die set.

The little metal butterflies are a pair of ear-rings I bought from Asda costing me £1 per pair from their bargain rail.

The border is a Memory Box die.

hAnglar & stAnglar Sailor Kid

I have made this card for my oldest Daughter's birthday and thought I could enter it into these challenges:

Craft Mad and Loving It - follow a sketchie with a theme to use corrugated card (punched hearts)
Just Magnolia and hAnglar and stAnglar Challenge Blog - Theme is 'anything goes with an option of adding lace'
Top Tip Tuesday - Theme is 'Wrap it up in ribbon'
One Stop Craft Challenge - theme is 'Texture' (I have used lace, ribbon, glitter on my flowers, corrugated card for my punched hearts)
Cute Card Thursday - theme is 'Embellish it'
Crafts and Me Challenge - theme is 'Punch it out'
Flutter By Wednesday - theme is 'Open' (must show a fairy, butterfly or angel)
Charisma Cardz Challenge - theme is 'Something that flies' (my butterfly)

The papers are Basic Grey - Porcelain.

I coloured the hAnglar & stAnglar Sailor Kid image with watercolour pencils and Sansador. This is the first time I have used these pencils. I am happy with the result, with a little more practise I think I have found the perfect medium.

I have used a Martha Stewart border punch to edge the red card.

The hearts are a Martha Stewart punch also.

I have punched a doo-hickey die from red card and placed a rose from Wild Orchid Crafts to the front, blinged with glitter.

The crocheted doily, ribbon, butterfly and gems are from my stash.

The sentiment is a Spellbinders banner die, stamped with a magazine freebie.
